No sooner had I finished my post on their new Book (see my previous post), but a little bird tells me that DesignHotels.com will be re-launching in a matter of days.

A new site will go live on Monday presenting the brand in a new way, in line with their rebranding as the home of the originals.

My Modern Metropolis

My Modern Metropolis, aka theMET, went live on 27 May 2008. Not quite another Facebook or Bebo, but a new social network nonetheless. Focusing on five main areas - upcoming events, great restaurants, design hotels, new music, and modern art it brings together likeminded people who share the same passions.

Their aim is also to be a cool place to hang out where those with busy lifestyles can chill out for a while.
